Cathy Tranfaglia, 2025 Light of Dawnn Awardee
Springfield, MA – March 2, 2025 – Viability Inc. proudly announces that Cathy Tranfaglia, Program Director of Community Integration Services, has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious 2025 Light of Dawnn Award in recognition of her extraordinary commitment to strengthening communities and improving the lives of others.
“Cathy’s career certainly demonstrates those qualities, over her 27-year career with Viability, she has helped hundreds of our program members succeed in employment and continues to carry a caseload” said Colleen Holmes, Viability’s President and CEO. “This recognition is richly deserved and reflects Cathy’s exceptional leadership and dedication”.
The Light of Dawnn Awards were established to honor the legacy of youth leader Dawnn Jaffier, who demonstrated an unwavering commitment to building stronger communities before her life was tragically cut short. Recipients share Dawnn’s passion and emulate her dedication to service. “I am deeply humbled to receive this meaningful award that carries forward Dawnn’s inspiring legacy, specially knowing the difference she made in so many lives” said Tranfaglia. ” I will continue to strive to live up to her reputation and the members that I serve.
